Haori exists because some living rooms will not accept a white plastic box. The fabric wrap is the point. Stylish exists because Daikin wanted a thinner indoor with colour options without going full Emura. Both still connect to an outdoor condenser, R32, and the same planning and noise rules as a Sensira.

If the indoor is in shot of the sofa, Haori or Stylish can be the difference between consent from whoever lives there and a portable in August. That is a finish decision, not an efficiency decision.
Cost shape
As a 2026 illustration, both carry a design premium over the everyday wall unit from the same installer. Labour is almost identical. Fabric or colour does not shorten the pipe run.
Compare installed scope, not a showroom indoor price. A Haori with a pump and a long run can exceed a Stylish with a 3 m drop to a rear wall.
How to quote them honestly
Ask to see the indoor, not only a render. Confirm the outdoor model, sound data and drain. Confirm who replaces a stained Haori cover in year four.
Use the quote form and say the wall is on display. Local installers will say whether they actually fit Haori or Stylish weekly, or whether they are stretching a brochure.
