An under ceiling air conditioner is a split indoor that hangs below the slab or ceiling, without sitting in a suspended grid like a cassette. It suits shops, stockrooms and some high-ceiling rooms where there is no void. Under ceiling AC unit searches should still include an outdoor condenser and a drain. The chassis is more visible than a recessed cassette. Choose it when the ceiling cannot be opened. Do not choose it for a low UK bedroom.
