A split in a small utility loses while a tumble dryer is dumping heat and moisture into that room. Do not size the air conditioning to defeat the dryer. Say which dryer you own, and whether its hose actually leaves the building. The unit is for the room when the dryer is finished, not for a fantasy in which both run flat out and the room stays at a showroom temperature.

Three dryers, three kinds of leftover heat
A vented dryer is meant to push warm wet air outside through a hose. If that hose has fallen behind the machine, the utility gets the full load and the split is cooling a dryer vent. A condenser dryer keeps that heat and moisture in the room and collects water in a tank or a drain. A heat-pump dryer puts less heat into the room than those two, and it is still a heater in a cupboard-sized space. The survey needs the real machine, not the word dryer.
The split is losing while the drum turns
The indoor coil can only remove the kilowatts it was built to remove. A dryer cycle is a short, fierce gain. The room will rise. That is not a fault code and it is not fixed by setting 16C. A lower setpoint does not increase the capacity. It asks the same machine to run hard and make more condensate next to a machine that is already wet.
Do not add the dryer onto the room load as if it were always on
If you size a split for dryer-on plus summer design, you buy a unit that is too big for the twenty-three hours the dryer is off. Oversized comfort units short-cycle, which feels clammy and noisy. The honest brief is: this room contains a dryer we use in the evening. We accept the room warms during the cycle. We want it back afterwards. If you cannot accept that, the dryer needs a better route for its heat, not a larger logo on the wall.
Lint is a filter problem you will actually meet
Dryer lint travels. It loads the split filter faster than a bedroom filter loads. Clean it. A choked filter is why a utility unit freezes or drips in a room that seemed fine in week one. Do not spray the coil with products that are not for it, and do not wash a filter into a drain that then blocks.
Two appliances, two lots of water
The dryer may already use the washing-machine standpipe. The split needs its own trapped route or a pump to a point that can take it. Tying both into a pipe with no trap, or into a hose that can fall out, is how a utility starts to smell of drain and how a puddle reaches the consumer unit. Mark both drains on the sketch. They are not the same hose.
Shut the door on purpose
A utility door left open so the split can cool the kitchen means the dryer heat cools the kitchen too. Decide which room the unit serves and shut that door while it works. Refrigerant work is for a certified company. The dryer hose is a domestic check you can do before they arrive: follow it with your hand until it ends outdoors or you find that it does not.
