Condensate pump lift is model-specific. Each pump has its own maximum vertical lift, and often a limit on how far it can push sideways after that. The quote must use the sheet for the pump that will actually be fitted. There is no universal lift height for a UK split. A small pump that only manages a short rise will not carry water from a loft indoor unit to a stack two floors up. If the route exceeds the pump, change the pump or change the route. Fit an alarm or a safe overflow so a failed pump cannot soak the ceiling.

A fall that does not need a pump
A drain that falls all the way to a waste does not need a pump. Pumps have a life, a noise and a failure mode. Use one when the indoor unit is below the only waste, or the fall cannot be kept. Do not add a pump to avoid a slightly longer gravity pipe that would have worked. The water is cooling condensate, enough on a humid day to matter. In heating, the indoor pump may sit idle while the outdoor unit defrosts. Do not size the pump from a winter drip outdoors.
Where overflow goes if the pump stops
The pump is water, not refrigerant, and the company fitting the split should still own the design. An F-gas certified install does not become optional because a pump is involved. Ask where the pump sits, how you will hear it fail, and where overflow water goes if it does. A failed pump needs an alarm or a safe overflow. The indoor unit should stop or warn you, and overflow must not pour through the ceiling.
Stop if the route is taller than that pump's sheet
If the route exceeds the pump, change the pump or change the route. Many small pumps only manage a short rise. A tall drop in disguise, with the waste entered high up, can still exceed them. There is no universal height. Energy Saving Trust will not list a lift in metres for your pump. The manufacturer's pump sheet will.
